what I’ve Photographed

I’ve been a professional photographer in Ibiza since 2011 and photographed everything, from beaches to your favourite restaurants, Ibiza people and celebrities too. I’ve also shot for magazines and publications, from White Ibiza to The New York Times. I took photos since I was a teenager, so it has always been my creative outlet while capturing  life around me, which also later became my profession… out of the blue.

how i work
Authenticity and real life is the center of my work, if you’re looking for only aesthetics and perfectionism, or for things to look like something they’re not, I don’t think you’re looking in the right place…
I like to capture all sides of life, having a non-judgmental approach, finding beauty in everything.
I love to photograph the everyday island life, nature, real emotions, passionate people and the Ibiza vibes. I really like to take wellness oriented photographs, yoga portraits, body movement, images of dancers and artists. It’s more of my world and what I relate to.
To me, photographs make part of our memory and I like to capture life as it is, with presence and an open heart, so we can remember those little things that make life amazing.
When we  look at a picture of  some part of our story, we remember how we felt at the time… I live for that that feeling of reminiscence through photography.
I like to create connections, become your friend, understand and photograph that side of your story, your view in life and your relationship with the island.

What I like the most is to give you space to be you, so you can shine
My work is an opportunity for you to say what you want to say, be seen as you want to be seen, feel how you want to feel. I’m open, receptive and sensitive, being myself and present for you to be able to be yourself.

I like to capture life as it is, with presence and an open heart,
so we can see and remember those little things that make us unique and our lives amazing

things i love

I love nature, the simple life, unexpected moments.  I love to live life as an exploration of our souls. To have an open heart and get wowed by life.
I love sunsets more than sunrises. I love the warm summer, quiet mornings at the beach, the sea when it sparkles when the sun is high, cats, to see people enjoying.
I love dancing, listening to a good story, eating a bocadillo at the beach. I love deep breaths, looking at a beautiful landscape, being sensitive, getting emotional from inspiration.
I love open conversations, relaxed people, creative people, caring people. I love honest people, compassionate and courageous people. I love that we all have stories to tell, I love that we can relate to each other through them.
I love when things flow, when it resonates, when it’s synchronicity. I love to see the magic, to feel the emotions, to capture it in the right second. I love when I can be myself. I love when you are you.

My work is an opportunity
for you to say what you want to say
be seen as you want to be seen
feel how you want to feel
i’m here to create with you

what i’ve done
& where i cAme from

I arrived in Ibiza in winter of 2012, 23 years old, full of dreams. I came from Chile. I was born there, in Viña Del Mar, a coastal city in the middle of the country. We had the Pacific Ocean on one side and the mountains on the other.
I grew up in a very big family, lots of siblings and cousins. My grandmother and great-grandmother were artists, fine art painters. I learnt a lot from them. The rest of my family were mostly caring mothers and business men. I learnt a lot from them too.
In school I liked arts, languages and philosophy, studied plastic and visual arts, was always very curious with techniques, always alone in my basement painting and making stuff. Most of my experimental artistic work was during my teenage years. I also carried an analogue Olympus with me all the time and won a couple of prizes with my pictures.
Then I studied graphic design and art history in university in my hometown, on a holiday unexpectedly flew to Ibiza… fell in love with the island. I decided to finish my studies and go back to live in Ibiza, and so it was. I found my home.

Fast forward to Ibiza…

In Ibiza I wasn’t planning to be a photographer, I started working at a graphic design agency. That didn’t work out, but then opened the door to start taking photographs and designing for White Ibiza. I loved that job! It took me to really get to know the island in a deeper way and for a few years I photographed everything. I learnt a lot, it was great, we still collaborate.

Then I went to freelance and opened up to work with different kinds of people. Worked for international magazines, worked in different fields, did a lot of exchanges, worked for big companies, VIPs, for friends and family, photographed beaches and events… everything! Also got into the world of weddings with the wonderful wedding photographer, Gypsy Westwood. I got to know the importance of capturing the fleeting moments and the emotions through photography.

And Today…

I now live on the island with my partner and 2 cats, by the beach on the East coast of Ibiza and after 12 years I feel like I’m in constant shift and attunement, that life even with its challenges is a real blessing.

I feel honoured from the chance that I can live to connect and create with and for others. To be in service to their vision. To also find my own voice in the process. To hold space for us in a creative process, where I’ve found that the outcome is much more than just images or an exterior and superficial view, but also is eye-opening to our internal worlds and vision of ourselves.

I’m here for you, to find your expression, share your story and your identity.

I do other things aside of photos….
Through photography I also got into the world of yoga. After collaborating with Sebastien Carincotte from Hot Yoga Ibiza, I took his photographs and attended his classes daily for a few years. It changed so much within me. I went on a beautiful path of self discovery through yoga. I then did a 200h Vinyasa Yoga training in 2019 that deepened my practice and helped my path of photography move in that direction as well.

Through the years I also got initiated in Reiki, studied gem therapy in Chile and yoga nidra online. I also offer Reiki & Gem therapy treatments and started my own handmade incense project with plants of Ibiza, ‘Island Witch Crafts’ in 2020.

Every season Ibiza brings a totally different energy, after all these years she still keeps me on my toes.
