Please have a look at my different sessions in ‘Wellness’, ‘Life’ and ‘Spaces’ and read about the experience and the process, there you can also see my portfolios. Then you can enquire via the contact form in ‘Contact’ and I’ll be in touch during the week with availability, prices and ideas.
I can help you choose if you’re not sure, as I like when colours and style go with the surroundings and help bring out the best in my subjects. But I’m not a stylist and I’m not here to judge your taste… I like that you wear things that make you feel like the best version of yourself, or that your space looks exactly how you imagine it. It’s not my place to dictate how things should look like, but to capture it with respect and sensitivity.
Clothing and hair and makeup should help direct the message that you want to give, it should make you feel like the best version of yourself and it shouldn’t be distracting. I for example prefer solid colours, no patterns or big designs that could clash with the surroundings or could take away the attention from what’s important. It should be simple, make your features stand out and not be about what you have on your face or body, unless you’re going for a specific kind of look.
My style of photography is very natural, so most of the times I’ll try to capture the magic without making you stay still like a statue (unless we’re shooting yoga asanas of course!). I like when you move around, do your thing, look at your loved ones… you know… things we’d normally do. I love to make you breathe and connect to yourself. We will do that a lot. Now, if you prefer to pose however you want or be incredibly extra, you can also do that, I like when we embrace all versions of ourselves. Who are you? What do you like? How do you like to be seen? What is that you like to express? I prefer to answer these questions though easy, natural ‘posing’. Nothing forced please.
It is different for every session, so please check with me. Weddings normally take 4 to 6 weeks. Other sessions take about 7 to 14 days depending on availability and time of the year. If you’re in a rush I also offer speedy editing for less than 7 days turnaround, you can check pricing for that with me too.
The only sessions that get previews are the weddings, as these have the longest turnaround time because of the amount of photographs to be edited. If you have a wedding session you’ll get a preview gallery of your wedding up to 5 days after your wedding day.
Yes, on all Portraits and Wellness (Yoga/Practitioner) sessions you’ll be able to select your favourite photos. We will take many photos, I will then upload these to an online viewer where you’ll be able to select the ones you’ll want to have, then I’ll edit those and send your online gallery when they’re finished. In this way you’re guaranteed to like every single photo of your session.
Weather is only bad if it doesn’t agree with your message, ie. if you’re selling a summer holiday on a rainy day. In most cases we can work around it, but if we need to reschedule to get the right light and colours, I prefer if we do.
Hey, life happens and I get it! I like to be flexible and find a date that is the perfect day for you to have your shoot, when everything is aligned. Sometimes that’s not the day and I believe in divine timing. If you’ve already booked and paid the deposit, you can reschedule your shoot once in the timeframe of a year. Deposits aren’t refundable, only rescheduling is possible.
I don’t, I like to have everything looking as you want before we shoot, and then the photos will be a reflection of your reality. If there are little things that we miss and we really need them out of the picture, I’ll fix those things at my own discretion. I don’t believe in body altering or skin retouching. What you’ll see in my portfolio is real people, real bodies and real life.
I’d appreciate if you do. If you’re posting online it’s great if you can credit the image, as it’s an open platform where images get reposted and lost, it’s all very immediate.
